Re-Opening Guidelines and Practices

We are looking forward to meeting back on the church campus! Before we meet on Sunday, May 31, each one of our services will be implementing the guidelines and regulations. Social Distancing

Please follow the signs posted around our church campus with directions and guidelines. No one should plan to attend services who is known to have had any contact with known COVID-19 confirmed case. Members are asked to maintain six feet of distance while on campus. Masks are not required by anyone attending services; however, we strongly suggest they are worn.

To simplify this process, the following practices shall be observed:

Visit hand sanitizer stations frequently

Shake hands

Hug others

Come to church if you are sick

Touch your face, nose, and mouth

Entering the Campus and Building 

  • Please follow the directions of our staff for entering and exiting the building.
  • We will have stanchioned off cue lines with floor markers six feet apart at each reservation line so ensure that people are practicing social distancing.
  • No one will be permitted into the building 30 minutes prior to the start of the service.
  • Attenders will maintain social distancing from the time exit our car until the time we get back into our cars after the service.
  • Auditorium doors will be propped open to avoid the touching of door handles.
  • Enter at the double glass doors of the main entrance (off of Lake Mead Blvd.) ushers will seat you.
  • Please follow all signage inside the building. Doors will be designated as “entrance-only” or “exit-only.” Please observe all signage.
  • Greeters will adhere to social distancing of six feet and will abstain from hand shaking. Greeters will be stationed outside of the lobby along the sidewalk and inside of the main lobby.
  • Space in the lobbies and common areas will be reduced to discourage social congregating before or after the services.
  • The nurseries and nursing mother’s room are closed until further notice.
  • No coffee or food will be shared on campus.
  • Playgrounds on the property will be closed.

Amenities

  • Handles to all restroom doors are being sanitized before and after each use.
  • Only one family unit will be permitted to use the restroom at a time.
  • Toilets, urinals, and sinks will be sanitized after every use. Counters and surfaces will be sanitized after use.
  • Drinking fountains will be unavailable until further notice.

While in the Auditorium

  • Please follow all signage inside the building. Doors will be designated as “entrance-only” or “exit-only.” Please observe all signage.
  • Seating is by reservation only, limited, and will be socially distanced.
  • Ushers will seat attenders before the services. Families will sit together. There will be six-foot space between family groups.
  • Distancing will be kept in all directions—front, back, left, and right.
  • At the end of the services, ushers will dismiss attenders in a controlled orderly manner maintaining social distancing. Ushers will direct people to a specific exit door. Please do not gathering at doorways.
  • Offering buckets will not be passed during the services. Offering receptacles will be available in the auditorium at each exit, members are encouraged to use online giving.

Exiting the Building and Campus

  • Please follow the directions of our staff for entering and exiting the building.
  • Auditorium doors will be propped open to avoid the touching of door handles.
  • Attenders are encouraged to promptly return home and refrain from fellowshipping at the end of the service.
  • The Main Auditorium will be cleared at the end of each service and will remain closed until thirty minutes prior to the beginning of the next service

Sanitation

While Liberty Baptist Church has always maintained high quality standards of cleaning our facilities, many adjustments have been made in order to prevent illness from spreading in our common areas. We will sanitize the auditorium after each service.

  • Handles to all entry/exit doors are being sanitized before and after each service.
  • Counters, tables, Guest Service Counters, and all lobby furniture will be sanitized before and after each service.
  • Drinking fountains will be unavailable until further notice.

Immediately after each service, the entire auditorium will be sanitized. After each service, we will remove all trash and left over personal items from the auditorium. Personal items will be taken to the lost and found closet.

Seniors and Vulnerable

Because of the dangers related to COVID-19, we are asking all elderly members and older members of all ages who have underlying health conditions such as breathing conditions, cancer treatments, suppressed immune systems, etc, to please use extreme caution. We will continue worshipping via livestream during the beginning stages of our return. It may be necessary for to stay away from “crowds.”

Service Schedule

Sunday Morning Schedule

We are conducting multiple services in order to meet the guidelines and reduce the seating in the auditorium. Worship Services—8:00 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and Spanish service 1:00 p.m.

Services are for everyone and children will sit with their parent(s). Each family will be separated by six-foot space from the next family. Childcare will not be provided in this early phase. Connection Classes will be encouraged to meet on a different day during the week. Individual Connection Class teacher will determine days and times.

Evening Service Schedule

Sunday and Wednesday evenings will continue to be available online through experienceliberty.com.
